Low Budget Dalek Funny Interactive and Original Costume

The Budget Dalek Costume is my humorous homage to the evil Dalek aliens from the decades old Doctor Who television series that has had a revival beginning in 2005. The Dalek consider themselves a superior race and are hellbent on dominating the universe and every civilization in it, all without a hint of compassion.

The costume body itself is constructed of an old moving box, one end open and the other with a hole for your head cut out. A toilet plunger (an actual running joke for Doctor Who fans) and PVC pipe serve as the Dalek "arms." The head of the Dalek costume is an overturned kitchen pot with a flashlight duct taped to the top, mimicking the Dalek's single light emitting eyeball.

The costume is mostly custom textured and you'll even see that the very edges of the open box flaps are even corrugated. The box flaps themselves will also flutter and move around as you walk.

The costume comes with a handful of sound and interactive features that respond only to the owner of the costume. You can play random Dalek phrases, tell others around you to be quiet or "exterminate" nearby people, objects, etc with a laser blast.

* Clicking the hat of the costume will play one of five Dalek sounds at random:

* You will be exterminated!
* E x t e r m i n a t e! E x t e r m i n a a a a a a t e!
* Exterminate! Annihilate! Destroy!
* Halt at once! Halt or you will be Exterminated!
* You will obey the Dalek, or you will be exterminated!

* Clicking on the body of the costume will play the sound of a Dalek ordering others to "Silence!"

* Typing a command in the chat bar will allow you to play a Dalek laser sound with an accompanying text message indicating what you destroyed. For example "Dalek Jane Doe exterminated John Doe."
