In order to use the bloodlines features, you must purchase or have already purchased the Bloodlines Spike (available at the bloodlines sim). Without it, this spike will still have the animated hoses, eyes, canister, etc and will still retract and extend .. but you will not be able to use it as a bloodlines spike without the necessary scripts and animations from the bloodlines spike. Please understand that before purchasing this :)
