:) :( Bottom line, without the cotton or lace, this dress looks like a American 50s re-make and completely looses its other cultural feel.
If I had understood what this was (or rather, was not) I simply wouldn't have bought it.
I am not asking for a refund because I realize it is my own fault for not more slowly and deliberately studying the picture and reading the description, and instead excitedly buying what I thought was a Maitreya fatpack of the Maria. It is not; it is the dress without the blouse and sleeves... :(
Bottom line, without the cotton or lace sleeves and tube top peaking up from behind the dress, this dress looks like a 50's American re-make, and completely looses its other cultural feel. If I want that cultural look, I have to pay another 888 for all the blouse options. How are the blouses more expensive than the dress? How do I feel good about paying practically half the cost of the mega fatpack with all the bodies in it, just to complete the look on my one (Maitrya) body? I don't know. Since I already bought this dress, I guess I'm going have to think about that...
It's a great American 50s dress at this point, without the sleeves and cleavage lace/cotton. I have to just laugh.
