You must shrink your feet to fit the shoes!
As far as I can tell, the size of the shoes are not adjustable. So, just like Cinderalla's ugly stepsisters, if you are tall or just have big feet, you must chop your toes off to fit into these shoes. That upset me a little, but I managed to limit my tantrum. Overall the shoes look nice, and I was able to hide the blood stains.
