Rigged, cant adjust it

i really like this head tie and the idea of it.. the quality of it is great and the hud is easy to use.. unfortunately it's rigged and i can't adjust it.. maybe it's because i'm using a TMP mesh head but the fitmesh doesn't quite work with my head.. part of it goes into my head and since i can't adjust the size of it i can't fix where it's going into my head :(
