The Savannah Font character generator includes 152 ASCII characters. Check out the demo to see all that can be done with it.
To use it simply place the font rezzer anywhere you have build rights, grant link permissions, and type the phrase you would like to rez. The rezzer will place each character in the correct location and link them together into a single object. The rezzer can be placed at any angle and the letters will follow suit.
To set the metal type, after your phrase has been fully rezzed, left click any character to bring up the material change menu. Copper, Brushed Aluminum, Silver, Gold, Rusted Metal, Brass, Steel and Old Worn Steel are included.
The rezzed characters will have copy/mod status so you can resize them. The root prim may show as no copy but that is due to the script inside of it, the prim itself is copy/mod.
The rezzer itself is only 1 prim, but you will need enough prims available to handle the characters you are rezzing. There is a high-LOD and a mid-LOD rezzer included, the mid will use less prims but the mesh may not hold up as well when viewed from a distance. Example: All 26 upper case letters from A to Z use 13 prims on mid and 25 prims on high.
