Sci-fi plasma turret
First fully self made object.
Base, turret and the cannon can move separately, and be removed (to get a canon without the base) it has several faces that can be textured. It is still a single mesh model however.
By default meant as a plasma turret, suitable for ground defences, however it can be just as easily used on orbital stations, starships or even in non-scifi situations if you recolor the interior of the muzzle.

Simple and mesh
Needed some added looks to my new space station this does nicely for add ons. Moddable and low LI. The LOD tends to flicker at a distance to the back barrel to the housing but nothing serious. Just add a prim to that part and it's all good.

Easy to modify, has several faces to retexture. I was looking for a weapon to modify my spaceship and this one fit perfectly. And has very low LI as well.
