Scrolling Signs

These signs, supplied in five versions, will receive any text issued by the owner in a user-definable channel. Text can therefore be input either in chat or by script, allowing the user to control the sign from other sources and remotely, e.g. from moving vehicles, transport timetables. The scrolling may be toggled on and off, and there is a choice of 6 text foreground & background colour schemes, selected from a dialog box.

The basic 12-character sign measures approximately 3m x 0.5m, has 13 prims, and is double-sided. It is ideal for surface mounting, e.g. on a wall. It is also supplied in two other versions with supporting brackets for ease of installation: one for ground mounting, and one for overhead mounting. The brackets can be easily modified to suit the environment.

The fourth version (surface v.2) is a variation of the basic sign, but has a 12-character display on one side in Arial font, and a 24-character display on the other in Arial Narrow.

The fifth version is a single-sided 30-character sign, measuring approximately 5m x 0.5m and has just 11 prims.

Major modifications such as custom colour scheme, number of characters, may be ordered at a surcharge of L$25.
