Set up: Sculpt Map: In edit object tab set the prim type to sculpted, select the mapping for Cylinder then drag the UV Map Texture into the colorful box - the sculpt will take shape. Resize - texture - done - enjoy. Get a reference on how to texture these from my examples or apply a test pattern to see for yourself how this maps.
