Sea Airing 30 v12 (Rez type)

As a longtime fan of seaplanes, I've tried many SL models only to find that some beautifully detailed versions look great but often cannot cope well with sim boundary crossings. This simple little biplane on floats, while graphically somewhat basic, really does operate very smoothly in the air as well as on the water. Although a good HUD is provided, the plane can be flown easily without it due to the excellent displayed text info. This builder's other seaplanes also share these good traits. Very practical and highly recommended!

I've become addicted to SL aircraft and flying, and as much as I like more complex planes, there's still something about the biplane I've always loved.

This is about as simple as it gets. It's extremely easy to pilot, takeoff and land without much/any experience, and the hud truly is optional since the visual quality is so excellent.

One tiny suggestion would have been to have a start/stop command in the chat, because as soon as the plane is rezzed, the propeller is spinning, and the only way to stop the prop is to exit the airplane....But, if that's really the only thing I can find, then we're doing pretty well here.

Is it the most graphically amazing plane I have in my inventory? Well, no, but at this price, it's pretty darn good, and as I mentioned in the title, just lots of fun. You can take your buddy or significant SL other along for island hopping or whatever you want. I love being able to take off from my beach home and land anywhere I want, as long as there's water.
