Seamless Textures for SL - Tutorial Textbook by Robin Sojourner

Details
A book taken from the popular lectures I do at Builder's Brewery.
This book is about making seamless textures.
It includes a discussion about seamless textures; what they are, why they are necessary, and how to take photos that will make good ones.
This is followed by methods for making seven different kinds of seamless textures, ranging from the very simple "bathroom tile" kind, through mirrored, distributed, half drop, simple photographs, complex photographs, and a bonus scatter brush method.
The photographic textures are preceded by two methods to quickly and easily even out the tone in the photographs, which is half the battle.
All told, it's 70 pages of information, with illustrations on every page.
The instructions given are for Photoshop; but most of the book is theory, and will work in any graphics application.
If you hesitate to buy books sight unseen, come to the Texture Library at Livingtree (113, 97, 25) and check out the book before you buy it. You can read the whole thing, and then decide.
