These wings are made of mesh, and contain a variety of features:
~7 Wing Poses

~Includes "Nano" version which allows you to resize the wings to 4.44% of the default size. This is great for smaller avatars or simply people who just want "chibi" style wings.
~36 Feather/Quill textures
~Restraint options so someone can "capture" you and chain your wings together, or bind them with chains to restrain flight (using RLV), and preventing you from spreading them open.
~Ribbon Options
~HUD driven with ability to recolor the wings parts and adjusting glow settings for an even more individualized look. The HUD also allows you to have another person have ownership of your wings while you wear them, and have control over them.
~All textures used are open sourced. That means you can open up the contents of the wings and find FULL PERMISSION texture files, giving you access to edit, alter, and replace the textures with your own modifications.

so I don't get the silly ribbon thing but I love these wings~ Since i got the the other day I've been finding an excuse to keep them on even though I'm a neko. I say well worth the 1k!

I love these! They are versatile and fit my needs perfectly. I love the different wing positions and that the colors can be changed. There is a slight pause as the wing pieces change move around while transitioning between positions, but it is not a long pause and not a problem for me. Thank you for these! Nicely done.

WEAR THE NANO
If the slowness bothers you and you are upset by that, please wear the nano. Yes the don't have the ribbon options and such but they load a ton faster. They looks exactly the same and it's not piece by piece. The people who bought these wings never tried then Nano probably because they thought they where going to be small. That is not true. These are some of the best wings in secondlife.
Disappointed
Would have thought the wing flap animation would be better, actually I am more surprised at how badly the open and close of the wings (when exiting and entering fly mode) is scripted, if you are going to do it like that, at least take the time to use keyframe motion, oh wait, keyframe motion doesn't work on attachments...........sooo your next alternative is a second pair of wings that are alpha and just do it that way. considering i've paid for a pair of wings that were cheaper than these yet still had better wing animations and less heavy scripting [This review is free speech, I've had to resort to pointing this out to avoid getting my reviews flagged just because someone doesn't like negative reviews]
