Use these script to make simple objects (like pose balls) disappear on demand. To do this you can either issue the HIDE or SHOW command on a private channel, or use the enclosed controller script that let's you do that by clicking on another object.
Neat for making for example all your poseballs in a room appear or disappear at once. The script also takes care of floating text (but see the documentation first).
The show and hide commands, the channel number, the floating text and its color are all easily configurable in the scripts.
Warning : do not use the script on partially transparent objects or complicated objects, as invisibility is achieved by setting the alpha of all faces of all prims in the linkset to 0 or 1.

A great script(s); wish it could be one script!
A great little script pair that works as intended.
I just wish it was 1 script with the option to either click to hide/show, or use a chat channel command to hide/show. As it is, you have to Rez a separate prim and run an additional script if you want to control the object's visibility on click.
I'll noodle around and figure it out. Thanks for a great starting point!
