I was very surprised at the quality of this item. The closest thing I've seen previously are things which simply rez textured prims with a predefined "tag" on them. And the recent update, with the HUD and its ability to literally create a new pen based on whatever settings you establish, is excellent.
The only drawback is the intense prim usage, even at low resolution. But it's a very fun sandbox device.
For the future, I might suggest the ability to draw non-phantom lines, and to replace the drawn-line prims with prims that list the user as creator. That creatorship bit might be more trouble to implement than it would be worth, though.
I don't know how to explain this other than UNBELIEVABLE!!! I loved it so much that I immediately sent it as a gift for others. It's fun and practical and a true find.

There's not much else to say besides: These are insanely, rediculously, outrageously FUN. Unique, nifty toy to mess around with, that's certain.
