I'm very happy to present this set of 5 materials enabled mesh Boulders. This set uses SL materials to give you a detailed rock at a low prim count.
The Set Includes:
5 Boulder Shapes
Texture Changer script - choose from five rock textures per boulder
Prim count: between 1 and 4 up to 10 meters - see note below:
Each Boulder comes in three sizes: <3meter, <6meter and <10meter
Because prim count of mesh objects can vary when resized - I've uploaded 3 versions of each model and optimised the best combination of physics and LOD for a given size range.
This means that you can have a 1 meter boulder at 1 prim that you can still see at a decent range.
Or you can have a 10 meter boulder that does not cost you 15 prims!
These pieces vary between 2 to 5 prims (up to 9 meters) - they can be scaled up but be aware that prim count may change.
Note: The boulders have medium detail physics - you will bump into them and can stand on top of them, but you will notice some sink/float when standing on top. This is to achieve a realistic prim count.

See item in Second LifeExcellent selection of LoD for optimizing LI usage.
Great textures, materials support, mossy and clean (light and dark, no second variant of medium) versions.
There's just one thing keeping this from being the perfect compliment to all the Sky products I own:
The textures don't include a showy option for when you switch all the seasonal items to winter.
Hopefully this gets an update at some point, or a bolt-on addition, because I find these boulders to be much better along a river than the other rocks that do have seasonal options.
Wonderful Product
Wonderful product... infinite possibilities.
Excellent!
Excellent item. Amazing detail. The copy/modify makes it so worth the price! Thanks!
Super well made!!
These look amazing, and with so many sizes and shapes the possibilities are endless. They combine with each other really well too!!! I'd give them 10 stars if i could :)
Excellent collection
Absolutely great set. Love the way you can merge pieces together and it still comes out looking like one big realistic conglomerate. The three levels of size are very convenient and I'm finding that stretching isn't too bad on the prim count. Five different rock textures easily chosen from a popup menu when clicking on a part of each rock -- my favorite, the dark moss. Recommended, well done.
