Skye Terrain textures for Second Life are designed to give you a quality range of textures with subtle variations on a theme. The aim is to give you more choice and control over your design.
This set is built on a deep rock base with layers of dark moss and grasses. These bases are overlaid with a wide choice of twisted root, deep purple are red mosses and flowers, loose stone and fragile fallen leaf. This terrain texture set would suit a deep gothic style terrain or mysterious hidden island.
These textures are seamless and at 512 by 512px

Very disappointed
These could be nice if they were more realistically proportioned for their intended purpose -- terrain textures. Sadly, MOST people who sell "terrain textures" do not make realistic proportions for applying to a sim's actual terrain. I'm sure these would be much nicer when applying to prims where control can be had over the scale. But for myself... for applying to an actual sim's terrain, these do not work for me.

beautiful textures as always! little too big to be ready-to-go ground texture in my opinion, i've easily made the texture 1/4 the original size by resizing it to 256x256 and filling 512x512 with the resized pattern. but that's just matter of taste, i like my ground textures finer and petals smaller :)
i'm glad they came in that size because that's always better, if you want to use them for any other build than ground itself, you have 90 beautiful and high resolution textures to play with! the textures are just gorgeous, probably the best dark yet romantic and pretty ones i've seen in second life! skye always delivers quality! thank you!
