Weimar! Presents;
Small cooking range
---------------------
*ABOUT THE OBJECT:
This small cooking range is perfect for any historical situation in the 19th and 20th century.
These type of ranges were used all over the world to not just cook on but to also heat the living room or kitchen.
It worked on coal and was often the only source of heat and hot water.
This small model was very common and relatively affordable, but it was also easier to move then the bigger build in models.
That is why you could find these in tents near the Wild West frontier, in the Victorian slums of Londons, in nice houses and even in tents and temporary homes.
Because this is a mesh item it has the details of something that would normally use up about 30 prims but only counts as 1 prim.
You get my pots & pans set for free with it.
It also has a nice stirring animation so you can do some cooking.
Because you have mod permissions, you can change the texture of the pots and pans, the shelf and even the soup, just in case you want to cook something else.
*ABOUT ME:
I am a Dutch woman obsessed with history, in RL I am a researcher.
Europe in the first half of the 20th century, inspires me especially Germany during the Weimar Republic (1918-1933).
The objects I create are especially made for The 1920s Berlin Project sim where many of the tenants often have to live in small houses and bad neighbourhoods.
More below.
*SCALE:
Most avatars and sims in SL have a totally unrealistic scale.
I hate this.
My avatar is about 6ft, just like I am in RL, compared to most avatars in SL I look like a child.
I build a sim in a more realistic scale and compared to SL in general things here are small.
That means that the objects I make are made for realistic avatars, if they seem small to you this probably is because you are very big.

*PRIMS/LAND IMPACT:
Land impact; 1 prim.
1.2 Download
0.4 Physics
1.0 Server
1367 Display
In short, they will only count as 1 prim.
*ABOUT MESH
If you make Mesh items bigger, they will usually start having a bigger land impact and cost you more prims.
The item should look good but from a certain distance it may look distorted.
To make sure you see mesh in SL at well as possible, you may need to change the settings of your viewer.
This generally isn't needed but if you think that mesh often looks a bit bad, you may try this;
-Click ctrl+D to add the 'advanced' tab to the options at the top of your screen.
-Click 'show debug settings'
-In the Debug Settings look for 'MeshMaxConcurrentRequests' and change the value to 128, this will not have an impact on how SL will work for you but it will make mesh look better.

I love it!
This little stove is perfect for what I needed, and it's low prim! Ms. Yardley was also extremely sweet and prompt when I had to contact her for a slight issue with marketplace. If I could give 5 more stars for customer service I would!
