Redesigned and retextured to make it even better! Wonderful new richly detailed gothic interior.
An Avi's home is their castle, so here it is, one prefab small keep, designed to keep Huns, Goths, Saxons, and Jehovah's Witnesses at bay.
This design has two main floors, the first floor with outer door entering on a corner, and the second floor accessible by stair ramp. In addition, there is a hidden room in the 3rd floor level of the tower. Teleport panels are included, but must be reconfigured for the coordinates of the final placement of the tower. The teleport script inside each panel is easily modable, and I will provide help for those aren't familiar with setting up tports.
It's one complete linked object, with the exception of the door. To place it out with the door in place, be in edit mode already when you pull it out of inventory, then place as you wish. Once you leave edit mode, the door is a separate object. There is a deep 10m foundation, so you can easily set it on any uneven ground, or even a hillside.
This design will fit on many 512 plots, BARELY. It has a footprint of about 15.9 x 15 m. It also has a total prim count of 46, which includes 2 for the door. Because of this, a 1024 plot might be best if you want enough prims to furnish well. 10 prims were removed from this design compared to the original version, making it easier to put on a smaller plot.
I love this little thing ... hollowed out the base and made a dungeon too
This castle is such good value, check out the other buildings for sale by this builder, bloody fab :-)
I am FLOORED by how good this build is! For the money, it is one of the best looking small castles available. The few quirks I found were totally acceptable, and since it's modifiable, these are easily corrected. (I have a very tall avatar, and the stairs had a too-low threshold for me to climb them. I just shrunk one second floor prim and expanded another- and voila, no problem!) The textures are unbelievably detailed, absolutely amazing for 35 lindens. I liked it so much, I bought Chrystin's other cheap build- the Medieval Cottage- and it's just as good a deal. Thanks again, Chrystin Hathor- your products are some of the best in SL!
Wonderful little castle. Pretty on the outside and pretty on the inside. Easy to set up.
