Welcome to the Wilder Skies Sopwith 7F.1 Snipe

The Sopwith 7F.1 Snipe was a British single-seat biplane fighter of the Royal Air Force (RAF). It was designed and built by the Sopwith Aviation Company during the First World War, and came into squadron service a few weeks before the end of the conflict, in late 1918.
The Snipe was not a fast aircraft by the standards of its time, but its excellent climb and maneuverability made it a good match for contemporary German fighters.
It was selected as the standard postwar single-seat RAF fighter and the last examples were not retired until 1926.

WCS Combat System -
Wilder Combat System is a sensor-based, low-lag, combat system for second life similar to TCS. In its current incarnation, WCS affords 10 hit points like TSC and CCC, counting them down on each hit, until 0 is reached and you "die". The default channel for WCS is the sams as TCS, so it can be used with any TCS vehicle, or VICE vehicle with TCS added. WCS allows for bombs and rockets that work in rez areas, and are installed. The benefits of WCS are that it's low-lag, and can be used in no-rez sims.

One of the great "sleepers" in SL Aviation, I am so happy I stumbled onto this!

Niki Wilder is a gifted 3D creator and scripter. Her team is incredible also. She has a lot of fun little aviation (and undersea) fun things, but her serious aircraft are truly works of art.

This Sopwith Snipe is no exception, the attention to detail is incredible, it is worth the price just as a realistic prop for an WWI airfield; however it is also a great flyer.

Niki has a philosophy about realism and what I might call "fly-ability". She has the correct mix of "realism" without causes the owner days of frustration learning how to fly her products.

This one comes with 3 flight modes and the "aerobatic" one gives you a very realistic flight experience! And... the others are easier for those that prefer it that way. I'd love to see more period aircraft from Niki - who I also a very nice person, someone you want to do business with.
