SPD X1 (boxed)

Worthless camera... It does not move smoothly (does not stay behind the boat when you cross sims). So you get all dizzy by the movement of the camera looking forward and backwards all the time :(

Got this at half price but it's still like 500 l$ too much. The driving is more like you steer a motorcycle on water than an actual boat. There are way better choices out there. Thank god i didn't pay more for it.

If you want something nice... go and look for a good creator. This is not one of them.

Ohh... and when it comes to service... Well.. He threatens people that do not write good reviews and even offered me money to shut up when i wrote a bad one for another item... and then he deleted the demo version of the product where the bad review was on. I guess he doesn't like the truth.

Some good reviews... probably by some friends, are obviously no a guarantee for a good item.

I have nothing but great things to say about BBX. I have two houses from BBX one is the Xuri night and the second one is the Luxo.. both homes are high class, well designed homes to say the least but we are talking about boats here.

I have two sailboats both well over 3000L each., but I wanted to start smaller on a speed boat from BBX and see if I like the speed boat as much as I love sailing. I purchased this boat from BBX as my starter boat with them, my real love is the Miami which I test drove. But the SPD X1 is well designed, looks great and handles very well. The price can't be beat for what you get with this boat. Its easy to drive and lots of fun and you can take it far out into the ocean if you desire. Its very solid and can cross sim lines with no trouble. Its not a boat just for local sims. For me its a good starter speed boat until i get use to it over sail boats.

I have to add in all fairness... I saw a review that is unkind to this boat and BBX. Yes the gentlemen that designs or owns this company is a very nice man and always willing to help out his customers. When I purchased my houses from BBX with in five minutes I got an IM from the company saying if I needed help or had any questions just IM them and someone would help me. You can't ask for better customer service, no other company has ever done that before and I think that says a lot about BBX!!!

And to the guy that rather the boat he built, over BBX, if you can build better boats why don't we see them on the MP??? Don't knock another man's work to build up your own. Sorry that had to be said in all fairness, you brought it up...Thanks again BBX for another great product and a company we on SL can believe in and trust!!

A had confidence in the good reputation of BBX. A friend has got a Suri and is very satisfied.
But... I'm not sure that I have not lost my 980 L$ with this one.
Oh sure, it is cute. But... there are some glitches in the mesh, there should not be in a boat of this price (white lines because of parts not well fitted)...
But the worth is the remaining... Physics are awfull (legs cross rear deck or you walk on air in the cabin) and driving not pleasant at all. No bend when turning, awfull sound... No, I definitely prefer the little boat I made myself.
Really sorry for this bad feedback, I know that creator is a nice man and always helps customer... but it should be said about this boat.
Would be a nice toy if sold 200 or 300 L$. But definitely not 1000.

I went through pages of boats here on MP and found this to not only be a very fair price. But the build is extremely well done, nicely textured and the boat itself handles nicely! Happy I spent the L's on this :)

this boat is gr8 for a cruise across sims, nice animations on the passengers haha pimpin'.

all 3 look gd too!
