This is an accessory for your avatar it can be put anywhere on your avatar. This will require some attachment / moving to make it work with certain avatars.
But all you have to do is put it on the right attachment point and adjust as needed. You could also use it as a decoration but you would have to resize it. By default it uses your head as the attachment point.
Currently it's designed to fit an avatars head (Open Pony). It's smaller than shown, but larger than a small piece of jewelry. It should work for any avatar though and is not limited to Open Pony.
This is a non-fitted mesh and will allow you to place it anywhere.
For those who want specifics about it's size currently it is 0.12 x 0.12 meters wide, if you made a box in SL, it's mod so you can resize it.
