This Australian made boat featuring a Holden 4.2 litre engine has been in development and test mode for many months. It has had 3 different drive set ups trying to find one that is easy to use and will cross sim boundaries with the minimum of fuss. It is my opinion that the more complicated the scripts the worse sim crossing problems become.
So here it is, the Toraro GTS XU-1
It's capable of 80kph on the open water but due to sim complexity this is NOT recommended in island regions. Having said that, I've tried quite a few boats and this crosses Sims better than any of the others I've used.
It can seat 2 people (4 seat version will be available soon). and has a light set up that actually lights up the area ahead of the boat. Just click one of the 3 lights to turn on or off. To achieve the light beam depth requires an invisible prim about 10 mtrs in front of the boat. On rare occasions this prim gets caught on tall objects. If you find this a problem go to edit / linked / select the prim, de-link it, then delete it.Make sure you have a copy of the original boat before attempting this though. I find the advantage of lights that work far outweigh the minor inconvenience.
The hull can be re-textured and coloured but please take a copy of the original before playing.
Thanks for looking.
Katey.
