I have a region with 4 separate dance areas. What this really would benefit from, is a channel option. So if we want to run more than one venue at a time, we can set the controllers to different channels. Right now if we move to a diff event venue, we must disable all but that controller. Please update this with a channel option, so owners with more than one dance area and can run them simultaneously.
That would make this PERFECTION!
Don't leave a negative review when you don't understand how to use something.
Dances that are sold full perms for use in dance machines are in the lower 1/10th of SL animations and are usually CRAP. Stop expecting a system to give you a dance- this is for people who actually buy dances (from stores like Paragon). This is a system that works with the dances you ALREADY OWN, to move your guests at a club into formations, while you pick which anim to play. There is 'auto' mode to let the hud shuffle randomly. There is also 'auto' for the formations to shuffle, too. There are three time periods you can use while it is on auto shuffle, instead of you changing the dances it will change according to the time period you select, every 15 seconds, 30, or 60. You can play the same animation for hours- it only uses those times when on auto shuffle (moron who wrote previous review about that). The system relies on a Spot On Experience added to your land that when accepted never has to be agreed to again. Guests click the dance calling post, get that experience add request, accept it and it will auto-seat them on an invisible mover that puts them into formations while animating. The whole thing is brilliant, and is much better than rezzing static poseballs for people to stand on that have to be rezzed and will ask permission every time. The idle dance can be deleted- you can select any idle dance from your own animations you install. The ankle lock is considered to be visually more attractive than a foot bending back to the point where the back of your ankle is touching your calf. If that seems normal to you, I pity you. If you think this is a pre-loaded 2008 Intan dance machine please go back to noob island to do your shopping and save yourself 1998L in the process. Here's a video of it working perfectly https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OZ03Z06WxGSVEO_kBEKPLZwqeJI8_EI8/view?usp=sharing
disappointed
The system itself was easy to set up, and it worked right away. The idle dance is plain nonsense, for the price of the system should at least one decent dance be included. My main problem with this system is that the maximal play time of a dance (auto mode) is set to 60 seconds. That makes that the dances I use (line dances) are chopped off without coming to their full effect. I am absolutely not happy with this system. The movements (patterns) is a nice feature, but the whole system as main dance system in a club is not advisable..It gets boring. My suggestion, back to the dance balls or huds.
Has its limitations...
Fair Warning! I was creating a special project using different user Mermaid tails. The Avatars look as if they are sitting using Bento tails. My animations work and look fine solo, but when using the system they don't Talked to tech support, the response was, "I guess we never thought of using Mermaid tails"...lol. Other then that, a really nice dance system....:)
Product is nice but please those instructions are abysmal !!!!
If you are not familiar with Spot-On the instructions are terrible they don't explain what the parts are and how they connect to each other. They assume you have prior knowledge , that I certainly did not have. A well worked out graphic identifying the parts and what they do and what to do with each. With decent instructions and at least (three decent dances considering the price) - the supplied dance is just horrible you wonder if you AV has become possessed by spirits it would be worth 5 stars.
Love it
I love the dancing system, it works great and easy set up. The notecards following the package explains everything :D
