Satori Starships - Star Scout / Star Guardian

v3.7 is done with major under the hood changes has been completed.

Scripts performance has been improved to reduce sim impact.
Ships have been rescripted to allow for a more reliable sim crossing.

WANT A WAR!

The most recent add-on is the Warring Module, a prim damage assessment system with
SFX that fades each prim when hit until it 'dies', to be use in friendly War Parties.

Default battle mode is Free For All / +Regen

Group Safe/Kill for Auto-Shooter is available for rezzing motherships with different Group Tags.

Set of Guards A/B, and Star Scout A/B. Two starship styles with 'B' larger than
the 'A' version.

Starships Guardian and Scout are 20m length ships with a mixed set of civilian and warbird
transports (no Bomber or Shuttle) which auto-dock when rezzed from the mothership .

The crew consists of pilot and three gunners, with additonal seating for 4.

The pilot flies without MouseLook mode, which is reserved for independent gunner functions.

TOS Starships

Satori Starships are powered by a virtual OS, which performs the functions of
a micro-controller to integrate all the various ship's components into a single
coherient system.

Flight, Warp and Impulse engine modes
Non-Mouselook Flight controls

Access to LMs from ship and teleporter systems
Pilot's map can generate local sim landmarks

The TAO OPERATING SYSTEM

A Virtual World CPU/OS in Second Life

The TAO OS is written in Second Life's programming language called "LSL".
LSL is specialized in interacting with the simulator's functions and databases.

TOS acts as a micro-controller, using notecards as source code to run programs
that manage and manipulate the data flow between the various ship's APIs.

The library of TOS modules, API documentations and Satori Ships' documentation are kept
online on Google Drive, it allows a download of all the TOS documents in a zip file.
