No away team is complete without at least one tricorder on hand.

This faithful recreation of the TOS tricorder can be set to either a medical or tactical configuration. The rigged mesh shoulder strap moves with your body.

A simple HUD allows you to switch between medical and tactical configurations, move the tricorder from shoulder strap to your hand, and scan the area.

Both versions of the tricorder have animated display screens, blinking lights, and an animated scanner pattern.

Also included is a handheld medical scanner (the medical tricorder does not scan by itself, but rather relies on data drawn from the medical scanner).

BONUS ITEM: We're including our Starfleet Medical Database, which provides a searchable index of all medical equipment and drugs used in TOS, making it a fantastic roleplaying aid for any Starfleet Medical personnel.

As a long time fan, I was delighted to find this well-made tricorder. Definitely keeping this in my Inventory. I'll definitely use it when the theme is 'Star Trek Tribute' at the Giant Snail Races.

This looks and works just like the Tricorder in Star Trek:TOS. Build quality is excellent and it performs a number of functions that come complete with the correct sound effects. It can be worn on the hip or carried. I love it.
