Starbase Communications Centre

- Orbiting animated data panels
- Pulsing central power globe
- Exterior radar dishes and scanners
- Posed crew seats
- External working doors

This is the hub to monitor all your data and communications messages in and out of your starbase. There are two posed seats for crew members so they can scan the far regions of space for incoming messages (or maybe broadcast urgent calls for help!). There's a bank of data screens set in an arc and a central node that has a pulsing plasma energy globe to help power those massive hi-tech radar and dish antennae which are mounted on the upper and lower exterior hulls. The upper dish rotates very slowly, but you can turn this on'off by touching it.

Surrounding the central core, there's a couple of glowing plasma data readout panels that orbit gently around the base making sure that everyone at their stations gets a good look at the latest status updates. Again, you can turn this movement on/off by touching it.

There's windowed viewing panes around both the curved hull and the flat front of the Centre to give a wide viewing area. And there's a metal trellis around the curved portion that protects crew members from incoming power pulses.

This module comes with free bulkhead end caps so you can make this into a separate stand-alone module, or you can join it to others to form a larger base. All the Exosphere starbase modules can easily be joined together by simply touching their bulkhead door frames. They'll move themselves into place and align themselves automatically.

  • Rotating animated data panels
  • Pulsing central power globe
  • Exterior radar dishes
  • Posed crew seats
  • External working doors

Looks great, but a little awkward to fit in.

This one looks great and I really wanted to use it in my station. It's somewhat awkward to use due to the door positions and spacing. Expect to do a little hand positioning if you want both sets of doors to hook up to something more than a viewport. It's worth it though.

The exosphere system is so easy to use. It really allows you to design whatever you need to suit your needs. Assembly is so easy you will be laughing. Everyone who has seen the space station that I have created with the exosphere units is amazed and instantly falls in love with it.
