Welcome to StickyNotes!
StickyNotes are great way to attach random notes directly to your SL viewer screen! Use them for quick reminders, shopping lists, to list the controls for your new boat, anything!
To use a StickyNote, right-click it in your inventory and choose Add. It will automatically attach to your screen. From there you can long-press the Note Bar to set your own text for the note. The StickyNote will remember this new text, even if you detach it from your screen and reattach it later!
To hide or show the StickyNote text, just touch the Note Bar briefly. The note text will either hide completely (for single-line notes), or shrink down to just the top line (for multi-line notes). Touch the Note Bar again to show the full note text.
To remove a StickyNote from your screen, click the "X" close button on the Note Bar. It will instantly detach and return to your inventory, ready for when you need it again.
Pro Tip #1: You can make a copy of any StickyNote in your inventory and name it anything you like. Each StickyNote is individual and remembers its own text, so you can have many different notes to use as you need them.
Pro Tip #2: Use the SL Edit tools to move StickyNotes anywhere on your screen. Each one will remember its chosen position even after you detach and reattach them!
StickyNotes already come with a wide range of preset colours, and you can easily tweak a StickyNote's color by right-clicking the Note Bar and choosing Edit. On the Texture tab, set the color you like. The StickyNote's text color will update to match the next time you touch the Note Bar.
You can resize the Note Bar or even change the Note Bar texture. Just keep in mind that clicking the right end of the Note Bar will always detach the StickyNote from your screen, regardless of the texture you decide to use.
