Street sign Version 1.0

All models are handmade and the textures hand-drawn.
All comes in plausible scale - keep in mind that enlarging mesh objects can change the prim count. All textures are tintable and on multiple faces.
LOD is okay, but the physics are basic - hence the very reasonable land impact.

The street sign set is a pretty exact copy of the historical signs still to be found in Berlin and some other German cities.
Please be aware that customizing it will require some building skills.

What you get:

a.: Street sign single - 2 LI.
b.: Street sign double (90° angle) - 2 LI
c.: Single version without the pole - 0.5 LI
d.: Double version - 1 LI
e.: A bunch of sample street name textures

The pole-less signs are meant to be combined with lamp-posts or such.

How to customise the street name:
Open a sample texture and save it (as a .PNG file) to your computer.
Open it in your preferred graphic program and write your own text on a new layer. The new name can be shorter or a bit longer, but has to have the exact center of the sample (since the sign is 100% mesh it can be a bit tricky to adjust it later).
Save only the new layer as .PNG and upload it to SL.
Edit the sign and click "select texture" - paste in the new name - it will show on both faces. Done! *beams*

I am working on an add-on of vintage (German - but the texture will be changeable) traffic signs - so stay tuned... ;)

Oh - and take a look at my street bollards - cast iron and granite! They fit perfectly for any European town.
