Of course in a very complex project like this the avi itself is not worth one star at the moment.
But, the ideas are 5 stars and all the hard work behind this is worth 5 stars as well.
I payed 15.000 LD as well and i am happy to test all the details and will write suggestions to the Mesh Project Team without whining. My hope is to have a fine working avi at the end of the Beta time. If its not like that, ok, it was worth a try. While i am writing this i still have a white head with a unapplied skin and my body looks like a violin instead of a human with RL proportions.
And no, i am not part of the Mesh Project Team and not a friend of any participant also.

Works as intended
The HUD works fine, just like the old version. Since I only own the body and not the head, nothing has changed for me as far as I can tell. Thanks for putting the HUD on the Marketplace so I didn't have to tp to the shop to get the update! I can't wait for this awesome body mesh to be out of beta so that I can start making my own tattoo and lingerie textures!
No updated Body & worse Customer Service
I have excatly the same problem, I never got an updated Mesh Body & Head which has cost me 10.000 Lindens.. neither any respond to my notecard!
I have the Deluxe Body for 5000 Lindens, paid so much for non-working 2 Tattoo Layers (tattoo disappear all the time if you wear clothes, no matter if you put tattoo or clothes first on, with the 1-bit Alpha HUD the Tattoos get broken), so I hoped badly the Update would solve this issue ..
But till today no Update and no Respense ... so worse!!!
They give you a free Mesh Body, which is really very nice, but you don't get a Demo of the Alpha HUD or how the Clothes & Tattoo Layer works on the Body .. that should have a warning for me ... because it is nearly impossible to wear most of the Mesh for me, because the cuts of the Alpha HUD are not in syncron with most Mesh-Clothes, like Corsets, Gloves, Mini-Skirts, Boots .. etc ..... and if you want help, they leave you alone .. no response .. they just take your money and care about to sell their things, but no help for the customers ...
They would have sold half of the Bodies, if Customer could have tried the Clothes & Tattoo Layer & Alpha HUD before .. !!!!!
I am sick of the headaches . . .
I am fatigued with all I have to go through in order to shop and wear this mesh body. I've been away from SL for the holiday and come online to a message that my StyleMode is out of date. I come here and get the new HUD but it doesn't work with my body. I discover that I need the updated body but I didn't receive any updates (maybe because my messages were capped) and now I can't get into their shop (sim is full) to see if I can get a redelivery (which I try to avoid because it's hard on the eyes and hard to shop). So now my older body is not useable. It's all been disabled. Why disable people's older purchases while they wait to update? Who knows when the sim will be accessible again. Maybe if customers could demo your creations without being forced to stand in a crowded and lag infested sim while trying to use a clunky shopping HUD that often makes you buy more credits than you need, more people would be able to get in and out quickly!
If there is a way to make things harder on customers you can bet TheShops will find a way to do it.
This Version does not edit the "Freebie Pumps (Ouch!)
While this version recognizes you are wearing the pumps - there is no menu to change the colors (the previous version had 5 colors)

The update seems to be a good one for the body so far I do have a question as I accidentally turned down the update fr the deluxe feet, which I have. I tried to go to the store so I could try for a re-delivery and update, but I got a message about not having access to the region. =/
