Sweet's Roth 2.0 BoM Bento Mesh Head

Details Features Contents Reviews (8)

Male Bento & BoM Mesh Head / with 4 shapes & a basic blink AO.
Based on the Roth Project Mesh head - based on Classic SL head.

This is a basic mesh head, a bit jagged - but ok to start with and it works nice if you want to go mesh and still keep the look of your old system avatar.
- It actually works best with skins for classic avatars.

- You can not use appliers with this head.
- The head uses 'Bakes on Mesh' and automatically hides your system head.
- It's compatible with System Skins & Tattoos.
- It may be compatible with BoM skins if they have teeth on the texture.
- Use tattoos on system layers (BoM) for facial hair.
- Known issue: a small glitch between head and neck w SL Body & some Mesh bodys.
(use provided neckfix or a choker)

► NOTE! BoM requires a Bakes On Mesh ready viewer (like the latest SL or Firestorm).

► Now you can use bento facial animations! (most facial AOs will work on this head)

I have been at my wits' end with male mesh heads for some time now. I use the Signature Gianni body. Like all male mesh bodies, it is deeply flawed, but when used with a good quality traditional male shape and, thanks to BOM, photorealistic skin, it can look pretty good. I bought the overpriced Gianni head to go with it some time ago, but it looked thuggish. I fiddled with the sliders and bought expensive skins to try and soften the look, but whatever I did, the loutish appearance remained. To put it bluntly, the Signature Gianni male mesh head is crap. Please do not make the same mistake I made and waste your money on it. I have also tried a number of Catwa male mesh head demos, but they all had the same strange kind of gormless look about the eyes and mouth. To be honest, they looked idiotic. Another vast waste of money. To be frank, I think it is a scandal that Linden Labs allow them to be sold. On the other hand, the creator of this Roth head modestly says it is a little jagged. Well, it looks pretty smooth to me. At all events, it looks far better than the Gianni and Catwa monstrosities and comes at less than a thousandth of the price. Currently, I am wearing it with my Gianni body in conjuction with my – admittedly expensive – long-loved old-style Jeffrey skin and Amigo shape. I have to say they look stunning together. So I say thank you, thank you, thank you. At last I have a male mesh head that looks attractive.
