Thank you for your interest in this refined sleigh bed.
The model was inspired on a bed of the "Restauration" period, French, 1815-1830, a short period after the fall of Napoleon I and the re installment of the Bourbon royal family. The furniture becomes more refined again, less heavy and uses shapes in the construction though not mentioned in the description of general antique furniture guides I remarked that the swan heads appear in quite some pieces. I never make an exact copy of something, not the intention, no fun to do it. It's an interpretation and I make changes according my liking and the inspiration at that moment.
Since it is an item that typically is placed indoors the LOD is made accordingly, it will hold more then far enough in any room and well beyond. Outdoors, nope sorry, I would have to make a unefficient mesh that would create unneeded extra lag.
Made more UV maps then I usually do, few reasons
1. Just the shape of the whole bed and elements didn't lend itself to cut it up in small parts without running in serious problems
2. I wanted it to be detailed textured and for that one needs texels. It's simply impossible to get detail over a larger area if you have 100 pixels.
MESH: build low prim with high detail, just rez as any other object you would rez. Adjust the size as you need as you do with prims. Mind that by increasing you might increase you're Land Impact (prim count).
Included in this box:
2 meshes (as uploaded)
3 sample setups, a) with texture faces coloured as uploaded,
b) with colour code (blue and grey) as indication for the relevant UV maps
c) with ambient occlusion maps.
7 1024*1024 ambient occlusion maps,.
5 1024*1024 UV map - made in such way that you have a minimum trouble to make you're items seamless
If you need help to handle the UV or AO maps, herewith some links of tuts I made earlier.

The rezzed object can be seen in my store.
Please note that you get 1024*1024 maps so that you can work with the best possible detail. To upload it is recommended to reduce the scale of the textures and test what gives the best result for you.
This item has a very strong LOD, though it is always recommended to set your viewers LOD level at 4.
It is better not to go beyond LOD4 level, grids don't use it.
