Thank you for your interest in this gorgeous double wing staircase, made as part of a custom build which is a interpretation of a building at Royal Ascot racecourse during the early 20th century.
The LODs are made strong since the stairs can see through the windows of the building which are actually all around. I added a ground floor and most important the start of the second floor so that there are no problems with the rather specific shape of the "cut out".
Given measurements are for the stairs and the railings on the top floor only, they don't include the floor-ceiling platforms.
If you use stairs do yourself a favor and start making the ceilings according to the stairs, it might become problematic to start making a building to discover that template stairs don't really fit which often means stretching the meshes which might lead to deformation if not equally done.
As always a full sample with AO maps on it is provided.
The stairs are made in the most efficient way as it regards rendering at the cost of the higher then usual (for me) Li.
I noticed that some of the elements flipped back to convex hull when I rezzed the sample. If this would be the case, you want be able to pass specific areas. Kindly check the physics shape and depending the element set the Physics shape to none of prim depending the component. If you need help with this please do not hesitate to contact me.
MESH: build low prim with high detail, just rez as any other object you would rez. Adjust the size as you need as you do with prims. Mind that by increasing you might increase you're Land Impact (prim count).
Included in this box:
24 FP meshes
1 fully constructed sample with ambient occlusion maps
14 UV maps
14 AO maps
If you need help on how to handle UV and ambient occlusion maps and since I had quite a bit of demand for it, two youtube detailed tutorials have been made for your convenience.

If you purchase I would really appreciate your comment on marketplace.
It is recommended to set your viewers LOD level at 4, higher is not needed and better to avoid.

- Low Li for it's size and detail
- High detail
- Great Physics shape
- Easy to texture the traditional way
- UV mapping and traditional texturing perfectly possible
AMAZING!
Absolutely stunning! I love this staircase! Extremely gorgeous for my current creation in the works! Thanks again Zed!
