TCJ Starship Manual

Ship uses physical vehicle movement (smooth) and is scripted to give and take collision damage. Damage is registered by each prim and depending on which prim takes damage or is destroyed will effect the flight and fighting characteristics of the craft. Once the ship takes any damage the name of the ship will change accordingly (will show in ( ) ). To repair simply delete damaged ship and rez a new one (ship is copy).

Pilot Controls
===========
The first person to sit/board the ship, or sitting on the forward left seat, will become the Pilot and will have the following controls. The person attempting to take over the pilot position must be authorized to do so from the owner control permissions menus.

Use the following key presses to control the ship in flight as Pilot:
W or up arrow to apply thrust in the current direction the ship is facing (Forward Thrust).
S or down arrow to apply reverse thrust in the current direction the ship is facing (Backward Thrust).
A or left arrow to turn ship to the left (bank left turn).
D or right arrow to turn ship to the right (bank right turn).
E or page up to pitch ship up and increase lift thrust.
C or page down to pitch ship down and reduce lift thrust.
Hold A+D or Left Arrow+Right Arrow to launch a guided missile.

Mouse look when piloting the craft will point any available turrets to point in the same direction as the mouse look crosshairs.
Mouse left click will fire any available turrets that are able to fire in the direction of the mouse look crosshairs.

Copilot controls
===========
The second person to sit/board the ship, or sitting on the forward right seat will become the Copilot and will have the following controls. The person attempting to take over the copilot position must be authorized to do so from the owner control permissions menus.

Mouse look when copiloting the craft will point the forward bottom turret to point in the same direction as the mouse look crosshairs.
Mouse left click will fire the forward bottom turret.

Gunner controls
===========
The third person to sit/board the ship, or sitting on the back most seat will become the Gunner and will have the following controls. The person attempting to take over the gunner position must be authorized to do so from the owner control permissions menus.

Mouse look when in gunner position will point the aft top turret to point in the same direction as the mouse look crosshairs.
Mouse left click will fire the aft top turret.

Owner Menus
==========
To get the owner menu the owner of the ship will left click anywhere on the ship besides the doors.

~ Main Menu ~
* Admin - go to the Administration menu.
* Engines - turn engines on or off. Turning engines off while in flight will cause the ship to fall.
* Navigation - go to the Navigation menu and choose a destination to warp to (Must have ship above 500m altitude).
* Help - get copy of this notecard.

~ Administration Menu ~
* Perms - change allowed operators of the pilot, copilot, and gunner positions.
* Door - open/close or lock/unlock doors.
* Kick - kicks an avatar off of a position (unseats avatar).
* Version - check version of ship and automatically download newer versions.
* Main - go back to Main Menu.

~ Navigation Menu ~
* Cancel - cancel warp and leave menu.
* Next - go to next page of available destinations.
* Prev - got to previous page of destinations.
* Clear - Clear all owners destinations and other ships in sim (Derez destination and other ships).
* (Destination Name) - activates warp drive (effects) and travels to the destination selected (derez any existing destinations in sim and rezes the selected destination below the ship).

Destinations
=========
The ship must be above 500m and below 4000m altitude in order to rez a destination. Destinations can be added to the ship in future updates and packages.

The following are the current default destinations that come with the ship:
* Sky Pad - a landing platform (64mX64m) with control tower and two medium turrets. This destination is scripted for battle and can be destroyed.
* Moon SX-32 - a small barren moon with an underground cave area.
* Cruiser SC51 - star cruiser (75m length) with four medium and three heavy turrets. Scripted for battle and can be destroyed. Not scripted to actually fly (non-phys structure).

Battle Scoring
=========
You now get free battle scoreboards to go along with your ships. These scoreboards come on the cruiser, sky pad, and as a stand alone object delivered within the TCJ package named TCJ SciFi Battle Display. Make sure you always use the latest version scoreboards as new changes and fixes will be delivered to you at no cost!

Scoring:
When you first rez, and then turn on the engines, you will launch and your score will be set back one point.
On a success
