Not bad, just not what I was after
These are good textures, they're just not what I was looking for. That said, you may find that these work just right for you - they are indeed seamless, and crisp looking. I also like that they don't have a lighting/shading effect on them, which makes 90% of the wood floor textures on Marketplace utterly useless to me. As a builder, I want to control my own lighting effects, thank you, so kudos to this builder for making these. :)
My own issues with them (again, my issues, not a problem with the textures) is that the color variations between the slats are too large, which when used in my home build draws the user's attention to the floor and not the rest of the room; it's distracting, and not what I wanted. I'm looking for a more subtle, clean effect from my floors - they need to look nice and beautiful, but not yell for attention. The slats themselves were also too small, coming off more like toothpicks when tiled across a large area and being even more distracting to the viewer. Changing the scaling helped with the size, but then I began losing the benefit of hires textures, sooooo.... for me, not the right ones.
I'll keep them in my texture library just in case I need them, as I said, they're perfectly good, just not what I was after. Your mileage may vary, they may be perfect for what you're looking for. :-)
Perfect textures!
These ones are real high quality and perfectly seamless. Thumbs up for the fair price!
