TRY [MESHBODY] Legacy (f) Perky + Petite Edition Version 1.7.1

I am sure legacy support are wonderful people doing what they can with what little they have to support customers. That said... the legacy hud is complete garbage. I always feared that with the media hud the body could be bricked when the TheMeshProject/Legacy/MeshBody/The Shops, what ever they're calling themselves now, inevitably abandons the body for the next new cash grab. But I never thought it would happen when their servers are alive and working (supposedly.)
Everyone, their cousins and their mothers...are having no issue with the hud, yet I cant access the style section, which you need to change your skin to bom, and control your nails. Support attempted to help me, I had already updated viewers, checked media, switched viewers, relogged, cleared cache, got a redelivery with a fresh body/hud. Went to their empty sim for troubleshooting, derezzed everyone but myself, upped my bandwidth, confirmed all drivers and graphic drivers are up to day, am on the most up to date windows (I dont get why my computer drivers and windows version matter but I have it all up to date, what ever.)
One of the reps jokingly stated that they were having a similar issue and had to reformat their computer to fix it...
I draw a hardline there. Beyond a updated viewer a product in SL should be able to work as long as the viewer can work on your computer. I regret buying the body, love the shape... hate the fact they restrict it so much and give you a cruddy broken hud that barely ever works. I live for the day someone released a nice mod body that allows creators to make actual mods for it without shutting them down, and a hud that works or better yet...just mod rights. They lose nothing to just give us mod rights, making the body no mod doesn't stop the copy botters. Thieves will be thieves no matter what.
Also if you join their support group for help be prepared for everyone to tell you how great everything works while you are ripping your hair out because nothing works. (end)

- Hands and feets are separate objects, so 2 valuable attachment points are wasted
- The texture layers for old pre-mesh clothing are firmly connected to the body, which means
* unnecessarily high complexity
(other players will not be able to see you if the complexity gets too high)
* more lag due to unnecessarily high render weight
(modern bodies have an attachment solution for those unnecessary old texture layers).
- media-controlled HUD causes
* lag due to the media stream in the background and
* carries the risk of functional failure if the media source is offline
- very rudimentary material settings options for skin and texture layer (no stepless control)

Overall, the HUD only offers basic functionality and the body consumes too many resources. The control via media HUD is error-prone and depends on the provision of the media source by the manufacturer in its function. If the manufacturer shuts down the server or blocks the account, the HUD will no longer work. An issuer risk that you have to know.

Ive been wearing this for a few weeks as a demo, trying on clothes, doing everything I can with it. I have not had a single issue. None. Nada. Zero.

It is ABSOLUTELY BOM COMPATIBLE. Someone left a review saying it’s not, it is. I had no issue finding the little “bom” button that makes it so. The HUD is ridiculously easy to use, a five year old could work it - this makes it super user friendly - the alpha system is excellent. The hand movements subtle and graceful. The skins included are pretty. The reformers are handy if you used Maitreya and wish to keep using the clothes made for it.

The reviews that caused me to shy away from this body, are non issues. I've not had any issue with body seems, neck lines, or anything looking jagged or less than perfect. I am not having issues finding clothing, in fact I find as much as I do when I seek Maitreya clothes. I love this body looks more realistic at any size, and is incredibly feminine. It works with any BOM tattoos or skins, also appliers. The petite addon is free and stunning. The shoulders are beautifully sculpted.

I will be buying it in a few weeks, and this will be it for me. I most likely will never seek another body. This is a phenomenal body and I encourage anyone who had reservations to give it a try for themselves.

I like the body alot but using the hud and with so many reviews on it I think i'll wait

will the ankle lock be fixed in the near future as it doesn,t work on the beds

The "hourglass" and "curvy" bodies look like Kim Kardashian's body haha. And the breast sizes are more than busty. They are gigantic.

However, I like the shading of the body. It looks pretty.
