Perfect For Your Inner God
Was looking for a pair of wings to fit my God King theme, these did the trick! The wings can be colored via select face and look really good with any bright colors! Well worth the price, very flashy and will definitely help you catch the eye of onlookers. I get compliments all the time wearing these!
Quite good, could be better.
At 700 L$ and no demo, I considered this purchase for quite some time.
If you know how to edit faces in SL, you can indeed tint the wings to whatever color you want. However the armored part is textured with a gold tone, which is in the texture itself, and tinting makes the armor look funny. While I was able to get the wings themselves blue, using the same color on the armor made it look a sickly tone of green instead.
The texture on the armored part is also somewhat ugly, and looks low/res. Overall the wings look fine, though, and the wings move and animate sort of like the wings of the angels in Diablo games.
For this price, I would expect at least a demo. And perhaps some color options, since you can't really tint the armored part as I explained. These wings add about 12500 complexity, so they aren't that heavy but not completely lag-free either. I wouldn't even mind the low-res texture on the armor if I could actually re-color it to my own personal color scheme.
I'd give this 3.5 stars but since you can't give half stars, I'll go with 4. This creator certainly knows how to make a decent product, but seriously, when you price your products in the higher end of things, please let people demo it first.
