The TSC Medieval Building Set is a versatile toolkit for sim builders, offering high-quality textures.
It provides the flexibility to use both older and newer viewers. Diffuse and normal maps, ensuring compatibility with older viewer and it also includes PBR materials that incorporate with new viewer.

EASE OF USE!
With carefully crafted HUD. Building never been so easy. Designed for user-friendly operation, with the ability to rez objects on click by choosing mesh assets from 15 different categories.
This set comes with 145 individual mesh assets that includes 4 different levels of detail (LOD), ensuring that your creations remain intact and visually appealing even when viewed from a distance, all while maintaining a low prim count.

LOW Land Impact
90% of assets are 1 Li, with exception of several big size parts that goes up to 3 Li
Linking your builds can give you even less land impact (Highly suggest)

Come with Scripted doors (Do NOT link them in to your build)

VERY versatile

This set allows you to build a whole lot of different things, not JUST medieval buildings. I built a rustic A-Frame with it, a full medieval village, mountain cabin... it's versatile. The one piece I felt was missing was a proper roof corner. There are some, but they don't quite facilitate e.g. building a T or L shaped roof or a proper tower roof without some very creative fudging.

Regardless of that, this set is WELL worth the price.

Amazing craftsmanship, but not what I expected!

Like everything else by this creator, the craftsmanship and the details are amazing, the assets are all works of art. However, this build set in particular was not what I was expecting. That's not to say it's a bad set, but my issue is that I am very meticulous about my building efforts, as in alignment and scaling is very important to how I build my scenes. This is a specialized set, it is not meant for point-by-point precision. If your methods are like mine and you fixate on building by grid, and scaling to match variably, this set is not meant for that. It is more meant for free-form placement without regard to hard symmetry precision or alignment. I was initially disappointed with that discovery, but the creator responded quickly to my issue, and was very understanding of my situation. This build set is amazing in quality, but the method of building it is meant for is not for me. If you're loose and free-form with your building efforts, I can recommend this set. But if you're like me and do things by the grid, so to speak, I wouldn't suggest this. It's marvelous quality like everything else they make, just be aware of what the set is meant for!
