USING AMBIANT OCCLUSION MAPS
Ambiant Occlusion maps are shadowed mapes created in a 3D program along with the sculpt to add shadows and realism to a sculpt.
You use them to create your own tablecloth textures
by saving the AO map to your computer along with
whatever texture you would like to use. You open
both textures in photoshop and apply the Hardlight
blending mode. Play with transparancy of the AO
layer to change the intensity of the shadows.
Multiply, soft light or other blending
modes may also work depending on the texture -
playing with saturation and colors can also work, it's
up to you to experiment.
You can then upload your new tablecloth texture
into Second LIfe and use it in your own creations.
Thank you for your purchase, happy decorating!
