So, what is the basic problem:

Go anywhere you want in SL where there is music and a DJ or a live singer or even just a club with piped in music. Go for it.
95% of the times we enter and see the old familiar rotating picture for a tip-jar. Yawn! BORING! A DJ or a club or a live singer is supposed to be unique in their personality and choice of music. So why, oh why, are they so predictable about their tip-jars. Why am I listening to music and staring at this huge picture of a DJ! They are right in front of me!!

Half the work of getting people to tip is to make them want to tip! Make it fun to tip. Make it worth it for them to tip and make it worth it for the club, DJ or live singer. “Show them your Linden Lovin’” does not cut it anymore.

AND BTW THIS DOES NOT ONLY APPLY TO MUSIC. IT IS ALL OVER SL!

There are no problems – ONLY SOLUTIONS!
SO..NOW THE SOLUTION!

Let us first take an overall view of what the TARA’S CREATIONS COLLECTION NEW GENERATION OF DONATION/TIP JARS do.
✔ They ARE FUN!!! THEY MAKE PEOPLE WANT TO TIP YOU, JUST TO SEE THEM WORK!
✔ They are completely configurable via note-card and menus.
✔ You can now split tips/donations with another person. Just set the percent & UUID of your partner in the configuration notecard and you are done!
✔ They are also GROUP INVITER'S - can offer those who tip you a group invite to YOUR group (regardless of what land you are on). Just to be clear, they can handle either normal SL group invites or SmartBots as well, if you use the SmartBots system.
✔ They GIVE INVENTORY – they can give to those who tip anything you wish from their inventory! You can give them information on who you are or what your business is, an LM, and even a present or a bunch of presents!
✔ The textures in 95% of the collection can be changed and in some cases even looped on a timer. When the Mesh has faces you can apply different textures to different faces. And since it is Copy you can make as many copies as you like with different colors. You can also if you know how, just apply your own textures to the faces.
✔ They offer you the ability to show particles and/or sounds of your choice (from a host of them) which can be set from inside the menu system. These, as everything else, can be turned off.
✔ You can set rotate, bright & resize! Yes, I would not want to deny all those rotating addicts out there from the possibility of a rotating tip-jar.
✔ They can be resized. Since it is Mesh though beware the bigger they are the more the LI is.
✔ They can send an IM to the tipper thanking them in YOUR OWN WORDS. This is all set up in the configuration NC!
✔ They will send you an IM if you wish every time you are receive a donation or tip with the name and display name of the avatar along with amount. NO MORE trying to figure out who tipped you what and when!
✔ OH I FORGOT TO MENTION! They ARE FUN!!! THEY MAKE PEOPLE WANT TO DONATE/TIP YOU, JUST TO SEE THEM WORK!
***If you are used to SL then you can just skip to the parameters in the Notecard file, fill them in, and the rest will be familiar to you.
