The Teacher's Aide, from RL Technologies
The Teacher's Aide is a specialized tool for repeat delivery of classes. It is a HUD, set to be worn on top left -- you can modify that, of course.
Once you are wearing it or have rezzed it, right-click and "edit" it. Change the name from "Teacher's Aide" so that it will speak in your name: "Doctor Who", for example. Position it where you would like it to be, change its size if you wish, edit and add some cards, and you're ready to go.
Inside the TA is a Sample Script. Open the Contents tab while editing, and replace that card with up to TWELVE cards of your own.
When it comes time for class, touch it (or use "/6 Activate") to launch the menu, and choose a notecard. The TA will then use dialog menus to lead the class through the card you provided, line by line.
Upon reaching each line, you may select:
"Yes" for the TA to read that line aloud for the class to hear
"No" for the TA to ignore that line and skip to the next
"Whisper" for the TA to whisper the line to you, to copy, paste, edit and send.
Anything you say with a /6 in front, the TA will repeat for you in chat. Therefore your students will not be able to know which lines were pre-written, which were customized, and which were said "from scratch." Just be sure to remember to use /6 consistently during class!
You can modify and make copies of the TA, so don't be afraid to try it out.
