This splendid historical machine is believed to be the first of its kind in Second Life. Carefully constructed from the only finest prims and fitted with advanced scripting it is able to carry three people in comfort.
It has great sounds, including a steam whistle, operated by simply clicking on the machine for fast and easy deployment in emergencies. It does feature a basic flight mode for those times when Linden bridges fail and is also able to unstick itself from the ground after bad sim crossings. The three 3 forward gears give good range of speeds.
The funnel releases a gentle plume of the blackest coal smoke while the entire front wheel and axle assembly rotates when steering.
This carefully detailed steam machine comprises a reasonable 62 prims, because of which it uses an rez - attachment system to circumvent the 31 prim physical vehicle limit. This is entirely automatic, just be sure to click yes on the blue attachment request box.
This vehicle has been extensively tested in the Independent State of Caledon to ensure that it is able to navigate the narrow streets and bridges found in that region.
