The Teleport Anywhere Phone Booth is a true experience-based teleporter. Exactly what does that mean?
Well, we've all teleported. It makes Second Life what it is. We find someplace to go, go there, and if we like it, we landmark it. Then when we want to go back, we only have to remember what it's called and search through our inventory and teleport history to find it.
This is not intended to fix that issue. Sorry.
What this does is to allow you, or anyone, to teleport to the landmark within the contents of the telephone booth. Anyone. Anywhere. Just by clicking on the phone booth. There is no second teleporter required at the destination. You do not right click and sit. You do not have to answer "OK to animate your avatar" (except the first time). No maps to click on.
Once you establish the experience on your land by allowing the experience "Argyle Homes" once, and only once, it remembers and never asks again. Just drop in a landmark, remove the one there, and rename it "Go Here". That is the destination the teleporter script looks for and that is where you go. There is no teleporter required at the destination.
You must either own your land or have permission to add experiences to it. Otherwise, the telephone booth is, well, just a telephone booth.
Step by step instructions are included in the contents of the telephone booth. You must enable the "Argyle Homes" experience on your land (about land, experiences, add). Delete the landmark in the phone booth's contents and drop in your own. It must be renamed "Go Here". And finally, the first time you or a guest click on the phone booth, the experience must be allowed.
After that easy setup, just one click and you go anywhere on the grid. No maps. No "OK to animate your avatar". No sitting on anything. No silliness.
This is useful not only for personal use, but for business. Realtors can use it to transport customers to land for rent from the office. Retailers can use it to move customers easily from one store to another, even on a different sim. The possibilities are endless.
The Teleport Anywhere is copy/mod. The script is no mod. It took forever to write it. I don't need anyone to break it. :)
This updated version includes a three button light switch to change the illumination of the phone booth light
