* Let your balloon drift, zen-like, with the prevailing winds. You never know where you will end up.
Almost perfect - Rezzer has Access Lock problems
Almost perfect UNLESS you were hoping to use the shared access Rez option to allow others besides just the Owner (Group or Anyone) to use the balloon. After setting up the rezzer option (Terra Vehicle Perma-Rezzer 1.2) to allow Group members or Anyone to access the balloon the Access Lock registers the change then soon reverts back to default 'Owner' option restricting use to just the owner. It would also help when selecting 'ride' for the balloon if the local chat response would prompt you to type 'chat' for menu options and to receive the HUD rather than just saying you are now the pilot. Otherwise this is a great balloon and I would echo all the other positive comments about it. If however your primary objective is to share the balloon with visitors to your parcel this is currently not a good option for that.
Still the best hot air balloon in 2024
I've had this for a few years and still cannot find a better looking, better flying hot air balloon in Second Life.

There are only two Hot Air Balloons worth considering in SL even after all this time, It's a sport that has never caught on, even though the winds of SL make it viable. Out of the two, this is my favorite but both have pros and cons. This has not been updated in forever, but it still flys like a dream and gives a whole new peaceful perspective of SL. Some enhancements I'd like to see:
- Shift waypoints from global coordinates to SLURL format.
- Allow for multiple waypoint cards for easy change between tours
- Add a few more poses and maybe AVSitter but that's not a deal breaker by any means
- An anchor would be a great way to stay in place rather than just freezing as it does now.
Other than those minor things, I love this balloon
What a beauty this is and so easy to enjoy!
We love that the operation of this is by HUD so we can cam around while the balloon maintains speed and altitude or will even park in midair with the Stop option!

Bought it after getting my home in Bellisseria and I LOVE IT !!! Would be nice to be able to customise it more, like for colours and patterns but still love it… And it is a charm to drive!!
Amazing Balloon
This amazing Balloon is, i think, the best in SL. Drift Mode (fly with SL Wind). Waypoint Function and many more. Fly´s very smooth and realistic. It´s a must ! Thanks
