This plane is inspired by real-life air racing. It is designed with only one goal in mind: To tear around a race track at insane speed. With responsive controls and realistic turn drift, the Terra Tachyon is in a class of its own.
One of the most famous racing planes in history is also a float plane: the Supermarine S.5, winner of the Schneider Trophy in 1927. Technologies in that aircraft later contributed to the Supermarine Spitfire, a mainstay of the British air defenses in World War Two.

Disapointment!
Been a Terra fan since 2006 so naturally when I came back to SL I purchased this little guy... Wow. What a let down. I remember Terra aircraft being a polished product... Where do I begin with this? Do I start with the sound spam when you press C/pg down while at zero throttle? I understand that Cubey doesn't care about SL any more, but this is a long way to fall from the guy who made legendary craft like the Talon that people were proud to have rezzed on their property for years.
Best Plane I've Flew
flew a few free planes and use to own Warbug plane. This plane has best handling. The others scared me away from learning to fly. Now, I am excited.
