Teutoburger Hunter Lodge v 2.1
Gen2 Loft House Series: Teutoburger Hunter Lodge v 2.1
Gen2 (2nd generation) Loft Houses are custom-made mesh houses built around the concept of open space. The goals are not only to be low in Land Impact and foot-print, but also completely Old World Medieval in style design, while fitting to SL usage. To accomplish this, each house uses floor plans of 1 or more Lofts, thus keeping them open from ground floor up to the very peak of roofs.
Each house uses an open post and beam framing (fachwerk), and purlin roof style (pfettendach) of northern Saxon (Germany) styling. Framing and roof structure is complex and architecturally true to Medieval Zimmermann’s (carpenter) Guild standards. Each of these houses could be built IRL, and last. So realism is taken to a higher level.
Building materials of these house are classically middle class with wood planking, slate roofing, stone foundations, plaster walls, and tile being used only on ovens. All windows come with operating curtains of heavy beige wool. Each house comes inclusive fireplaces. (See individual description for details.)
