I just got these for my classic avatar (I don't have a mesh body) to use for an office outfit with a black skirt. The alpha worked great for me.
I find the foot shape of these boots very elegant, I was looking for boots that looked a bit "1970s" which I like. All the colors for 100L is very good value, I bought a set for a friend too.

I had these same boots from another supplier. I loved them but the texture was way too dark on the pair I had. I looked around for another pair, found these and just had to have them. Not only do I now have a much better black texture, but I have several other colours to choose from too.
This supplier has done things right and made them modifiable so that we can remove the texture scripts once set up (always make a copy first by the way). It's always irritating when merchants don't allow people who buy their goods to modify their personal copy, or at the very least to allow some means by which scripts can be removed, so kudos to Thalia's Fashion for allowing some freedom.
On the downside, and no stars withheld for this common oversight, the boots attach to your right hand instead of to your left or right foot. This can be corrected by right clicking in inventory and selecting "Attach To > Right/Left Foot" instead of "Wear or Add" the first time you wear them (it will remember for next time so a simple "Wear" or "Add" will suffice from then on). It's rigged mesh so they go to the correct place no matter where they are attached, but if you want to reduce the chance of losing your clothes when you "wear" a drink then I suggest that people who buy these, and other rigged mesh items, select a more appropriate attachment point for themselves.
