Want to BUILD WITH MESH ??
...but dont know how to create MESH yourself?
Now you can!
"The !CUBE" allows you to build using MESH inworld!

Want to REDUCE PRIM COSTS ??
Main idea is to reduce using SL primcount and your PC resources.
Link 2 = 1 prim
That's right! 2 prims will only count as 1 prim once linked!
For every 2 "The !CUBE"s linked together you'll have a count of 1 prim.
Put two "The !CUBE!"s down, resize, reshape and texture them as you like.
When you're finished link them together and your prim count is cut down from 2 to 1.

"The !CUBE" is
- FREE - like a cube should be! - because nobody should have to pay for a primitive mesh shape.
- MODIFY/COPY/TRANSFER
- great to use for whatever a MESH cube accommodates so as for replacing some prims in old huge objects.

"The !CUBE"
- is 100% Mesh!
- comes with only 0.5 prims -even at size of 64x4x64 m) with 6x2 = 12 triangles only! ;-)
(...but to take advantage of the fact it MUST be linked to other objects, otherwise it will be counted as a full prim!!)
- is a very simple MESH cube but has 6 different sides like a SL cube. Each side has its own face to texture.
- can be textured with ANY regular texture without distortion (UV map for seeing where the seams have been set included).
- can be resized and reshaped just like any normal SL cube (but no torturing like twisting or cutting....)!
- has precision sharp shape with a well working LOD, no distortion at distance.

EXPERIMENT ;-)
* A regular SL cube consist from 108 triangles (18 per side x 6 sides).
The more triangles the more your PC resources need to work.
"The !CUBE" has 6x2 = 12 triangles and reduces the resources your PC's needs.
* 3D image consists of many triangles that create your 3D world.
More triangles more smooth shape you see, less triangles more angled and flat surfaces.
* If you want to check this theory self turn on SL WireFrame mode on (in my viewer it is Ctrl+Shift+R key pressing at once).
Your screen turns to triangles showing (wire) mode. You can zoom to any object in SL and notice triangles. (To switch back to normal mode press ?
again Ctrl+Shift+R or whatever keys in your viewer.)

FREEBIE and FULL perm means in RL that there is NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT for that.

* The !CUBE is MESH item for builders, just 3D model (shape) - no final product.
It can be linked to regular prims or even sculpts (This might not work with all linksets, sculpted prims and scripted objects. Linking to a convex hull, a SL Torus, Tube, or Ring or scripted objects can give an unreasonable increase in Land Impact. You just have to try.)

*This is MESH, so it requires MESH enabled viewer to operate with.
Otherwise you will not able to see it (though probably it still works for you as invisible physical prim.
