The Crafty Miner Avatar Version 1.4

Disclaimer: This avatar currently does not support 1.8+ skins yet. The last time this avatar was updated was in 2013. I haven't had the time to get it updated otherwise. In the event it does get updated, it will support such skins.

Lo and behold, the Crafty Miner! The pixelated, blocky master of punching trees, and going through portals to hell to daringly get foreign resources. It is here, ready for you to control and explore mines with. A very masterful character indeed.

This avatar has many features within.

1. Animated (and even has custom gestures!)

From walking, running, sneaking, to sitting down, this avatar is animated. It even has gestures made specifically for this avatar. The gestures include waving, bowing, clapping, hugging, rocking (an arm in the air while your head is bobbing), dancing, getting stuck in the ground, and sleeping.

A lot of animations that are meant for normal avatars will look very goofy while using this avatar, so it's not recommended that you use any natural gestures that use animations or use different animation overriders aside from the one provided by the avatar's HUD itself.

The avatar's AO disables prejump, but the option for prejump can be turned back on in the HUD.

2. Easily customizable textures. Hat, armor, and cape layer included!
This avatar uses a notecard + script system to change the skin & hat layers of the avatar, making it easy to change your skin. Just upload the new textures (with some editing), place them inside the HUD, and modify the notecards, and you should be able to access your new skin!

3. Sounds
This avatar makes sounds while walking, while attacking, while firing arrows, while having hard landings. These sounds can be disabled at any time.

4. Combat!
You have a melee attack, and a ranged arrow attack while using this avatar. You also have a grenade-like attack where you throw TNT! You even can throw snowballs! All attacks are scripted to deal Linden Damage in damage-enabled sims (except for the snowball). You can switch between melee and arrows easily, and both melee and arrows use mouselook to execute. TNT or snowballs are thrown through crouching or through chat command gestures. All attacks are customizable without any scripting knowledge, whether it's by the melee's attack reach or damage, or the arrow's rate of fire, or the TNT's time before explosion, or a snowball's velocity at which you throw it.

The avatar also has it's own health system put into it. You can engage in combat with other Crafty Miner avatars or you can get into combat with everyone, where you take damage based on the velocity and mass of an object that hits you. Fight with your friends!

A sim with rezzing allowed is required for the melee attacks damage to work, and for arrows, snowballs, and TNT to work. A sim with pushing allowed is required for the melee attack's knockback to work.

5. Even more content!
This avatar comes with some extras that aren't really part of the avatar. This includes a chest, an accessory to go on a normal avatar's head, a weapon kit (a guide on how to make pixelated weapons, along with examples and scripts that are compatible with the avatar), a displayer for displaying skins, and more!
