When I first joined Second Life this mesh thing didn't exist so doing anything even remotely related to this was absurdly expensive on prim count. Well... Mesh to the rescue :)
Only 30 Land Impact as rezzed.
Physics model active on everything but the sign frame.
16x16 floor - 256m^2.
Doubles up nicely for making 512 and 1024m^2 builds.
Sign is a standard prim so you can texture that with your shop name or whatever else you can think up.

Cool work, I got it for a photo prop [http://www.flickr.com/photos/zibska/8191363408/]. I think it does make a very cool shop build as well, love the low prim aspect! The only thing I changed was turning all the light in the build off so windlight would work properly. I will definitely be using it again and recommend it to others. Looking forward to more builds from you :)
outstanding structure
Mesh has truly arrived in SL with this. This fabulous structure is very detailed, and very light on prims. I use it as a display for artwork and sculptures. The blocks can be further tailored, resized and moved to fit the land, or it can simply be used as provided.
