Be still, my heart!
When I dropped the rez box on the ground there was an arrow. I thought it might point to the front of the house. It was the opposite. I found that out! I was able to de-rez it and try again. My biggest fear was the width. That was tight, but there was lots of beach room and it looked ok, so I clicked save. Bad idea. I had plenty of room on the sides and lots of room on the beach..Then I walked though the house, admiring this entire thing. But the back porch seemed ...odd. Then I realized that the back of the house was right against my neighbors barn. Gotta de-rez it. BUT I already clicked save. So, my option was to use the 'return all objects' to owner. I had little on that plot, so off it all went. Now, I'm hoping it all went back together again. I placed the rez box, this time allowing for the back of the house which has a great porch and mini pool, etc. Don't want to loose that. I moved the rez box as needed with build tool. Once again I rezzed the house, and it all popped up., items flying in the air and it all looked like a magic potion gone awry. At this point I expected the worst and thought I was getting it.
THIS time the rez box was not touched as I examined everything. This house is more awesome than awesome! There are a lot of large homes, but with avatars it's difficult to maneuver hallways and small rooms. This is beautiful and I am still playing with all of the options. One that I really like is that the doors to the outdoor patios stay open as they would in a real home. ( we have a 12 foot set out to our pool and patio and those things are not cheap) Each door is individual and lighting is individual to different areas. Playing with the shutters.... lights, etc. Wow!
